Sometimes we need a sharper photo before we can confidently match your selfie to your BVN record. When that happens, the app shows the reason and lets you try again with Retake photo, then Verify me.
A good selfie makes all the difference here. Find a well-lit spot, hold the phone steady, and make sure your whole face is in the frame and facing the camera. Avoid glare, shadows, blur, caps, and sunglasses. It must be a live selfie taken in the moment, not a photo of another photo or an ID card.
Once your new selfie is clear, verification will continue on its own.
