Because anyone can send tokens to any public wallet address, you may occasionally notice coins in your wallet that you never bought. These are almost always spam "airdrops." Scammers use them to make a wallet look like it holds a fortune, or to tempt you into visiting a malicious website named in the token.
The safe response is simple: do not interact with tokens you do not recognise. Do not try to swap, send, or approve them, and never visit any website mentioned in a token's name or description. These spam tokens do not touch your real assets, and a scary-looking fake value does not mean you have received real money. Ignoring them is completely safe.
